For example, when we prune a tree to improve your view or remove one pesky branch, we also prune out dead branches, defects, and hazardous branches. When we remove a tree, we make sure it is being removed for the right reasons and because it is the last and best option.
We leave properties better than they were upon our arrival and leave a positive impact on the environment around us. Tree care means to us comprehensive care for your trees, the environment, and the client all together in an equal balance.
We do our work right the first time, every time. We don‘t kick our spikes into healthy trees, make improper cuts or skimp on helmets and other necessary safety equipment just to save time and a little bit of cash. Being unsafe puts us at risk and endangers you and your property as well. Tree care should never become a liability. It should enhance your property, make it safer and keep the vegetation and landscape healthy and functioning. Unfortunately bad practices have plagued the tree care industry and a vast majority of the Bay Area’s local tree companies have slipped into these irresponsible. We recognize that cutting corners has no place in such a dangerous and important industry. Every cut should be expertly placed and every tree must be properly managed. Tree care is important work and each practice that is done can positively or negatively effect trees and the environment.
In this new era, the world doesn’t need another ordinary tree company that is in the pursuit of profit and produces off of the the unscientific destruction of trees. We recognized this and have kept the fundamentals of a tree care company while adding different values. While we still cut down a lot of trees and will continue to do so in the future, however, we have a plan to offset this. We will start by planting trees in appropriate locations where they can thrive without risk of fire, falling, competition by invasive species and other unnatural threats. We will also introduce and maintain native vegetation into our green spaces, stabilize slopes, maintain streams and creeks, and make sure that we don’t disturb nature while we carry out our work. We believe that tree care isn’t care if it doesn’t have environmental responsibility included into it.
We strive to make tree service affordable and understandable. Many people need tree services but either don‘t know that they need it or why they need it. Trees are a vital component in our natural landscapes. They hold up hillsides, provide shade, lumber, crops, habitats and beauty to our natural world. They are a fundamental aspect of our planet and crucial to our ecosystems. We strive to walk our clients through our comprehensive plans and explain to them how we work, how our equipment and processes work and why we do certain things. In addition we will break down costs, match bids, and even raise money to complete certain work. By doing this we are making our work accessible giving our clients peace of mind by making sure that they are aware of what is going on during the completion of their project.
Similarly, we aim to educate the general public by making videos, blogs, social media posts, posters and flyers detailing information regarding tree work. This information includes scientific concepts, environmental stewardship plans, and everything when it comes to landscaping and tree care. It is important to us for the public to understand how we work and the importance of our work as well as the fact that tree care is more than chopping down trees but it is or should be rooted and science and proper techniques because it truly is a necessary industry to maintain the balance of trees, vegetation, and nature in our world.
